Beautiful and spacious apartment in a great location in a quiet street. There are a few grocery stores just around the corner, Taksim square and lots of shopping streets are within easy walking distance just a few minutes away. The apartment has two bedrooms and a big and well equipped bathroom. It also has a proper kitchen with everything you might need, which was important to us. Communication with the host was perfect and check-in without complications. All in all a well deserved 5 out of 5 stars and a definite recommendation if you're looking for a nice place to stay in that area.

The apartment was very lovely light and spacious in a quiet area. I really appreciated the place and would stay there again, we had a really relaxing stay.

We loved our stay at this apartment in Cihangir! We stayed for three weeks and enjoyed getting familiar and comfortable with the neighborhood. The location is ideal — quiet, but nearby many great restaurants, shops, and major sites. The WiFi was excellent, supporting two people working from home on frequent simultaneous video calls. The apartment was clean, the towels and bedding were good. Vng management was very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend.

The house is as neat and beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Sunlit in the morning from the bedrooms side, and in the afternoon in the living area side. And of course, Cihangir is as beautiful and vibrant as you read in every reviwe. 10/10!

The flat was very spacious and clean. We were travelling with our 1 year old daughter and Nicholas kindly organized a baby cot and high chair for her which made our stay super comfortable. The space is very comfy with a baby and there is enough room for minimum 4 adults plus a baby / children. I love the fresh towels and slippers. The kitchen utilities were very useful when you need to cook your own food especially for the child. The flat is located at the very central and popular area of Istanbul and walking distance to very good restaurants and popular bars. We have lived in the same area for many years and I found Nicholas's guidebook very useful for the first time travellers to the city/area. Every details were well thought. And the internet connection were great ! Thanks for such a lovely stay !

This is a beautiful peaceful space , much appreciated after the business in the city outside. it's light and spacious and we really enjoyed having a place to be quiet, although the upstairs people can be noisy on the ceiling at all kinds of times. It's a nice building and good feeling in the area... we enjoyed staying there and Deniz was very good staying up late to guide the taxi to the flat in the early hours, and Nick had no problem giving us a late check out.

Fantastically helpful host. I managed to booked our Airbnb for the wrong weekend and Nicholas and co were able to sort out this alternative property while we were on the flight to Istanbul! We were also able to check out late so we could leave our luggage and explore on our final day. Very clean apartment - kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Quiet area on the whole, easy to walk to Taksim Square and a slightly longer walk to old Istanbul. We found lots of nice places to eat breakfast nearby. Water and plenty of towels were provided for us and the response time of our host was very, very quick. I hope we get to stay at the apartment we meant to book another time!

The apartment is really well located, within easy walk of Taksim Square and the metro, as well as easy downhill access to the tram system that accesses other areas of bustling Istanbul.

Lovely home in Cihangir that is actually quite bigger than the pictures look. The neighborhood is great and quiet. Centrally located to all the major sights, but a refuge from the craziness of the city. Several great restaurants nearby, especially Greecology for breakfast and coffee. Check-in and communication were easy and swift. Wish we didn't have to leave so soon.

The beds were super soft and comfy which was exactly what we needed after a long day out exploring Istanbul on foot. The location was also excellent—a short 10 minute walk to the light rail and the metro.

This was a fantastic location. A few mins walk to lots of quirky little Cihangir cafes, 5 mins walk to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. So much to do/see/eat around here! A cab to the old town to see the sights was no more than 15-20 mins depending on traffic and never cost more than 25-30tl even with heavy traffic. The place itself is much bigger than the photos, very clean and really bright and airy which is difficult to find in Istanbul. Deniz was quick to respond to any questions. Thank you Deniz and Nicholas, we had an unforgettable time here!

I cannot begin to express how wonderful Nicholas's apartment is. I spent a week here with my wife and three children and the apartment was perfect for our needs. It is spacious and tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and modern appliances. All basic amenities are provided and this apartment is spotlessly clean. The children had enough space to relax and play as well, and the space felt like a home away from home. Location is perfect as you're literally a hop away from the famous Istiklal street and Taksim square, which boasts a variety of restaurants, shops and entertainment areas. From here it's easy to access the rest of the city via tram. We were received by Deniz on arrival who was was very pleasant and helpful and correspondence with Nicholas was easy and efficient. Overall our stay in Istanbul was wonderful and this apartment contributed greatly to that. We would recommend it to family and friends and will definitely stay here again when visiting Istanbul.

We had a very nice experience and everything was perfect

We really enjoyed our stay and check in and it was without a hassle. The place was magically clean not to mention about location is so perfect. Just off Taksim area only a stone throw away but apartment is located in a quiet street even though it is on the first floor it is so quiet we didn't have trouble with noise at night. We would definitely stay there again! Best location and well priced for the place!

Nice home and very comfortable. I had a great 4days stay here. The house it’s nearby Taksim Square and Metro, 5-8mins walking. Owner is very understanding on the check in and check out time. Recommended! Will definitely stay here again for my next visit.

The house is beautiful and very stylish. It is in a very good location just 10 mins from istiklal street and taksim aquare. Our host Deniz was very communicative, always prompt with answers to our queries. The neighborhood is lovely, just the right mix of quiet but not so far from all the action. A definite recommend.

This is a super functional + convenient home for 4/5 people -- with a lot of natural light and a well stocked kitchen. Great value for money and love the neighbourhood! Close enough to all the action yet secluded enough to feel like local's neighbourhood :)

We had a great time in istanbul. The apartment is stylish and in a very nice location close to all services, including a taxi stand, and the place is even nicer and spacier than it looks in pictures. It is also only a few steps up from the street level, so this is very convenient.

Great experience, and the apartment was spacious and we felt like home! The location is perfect! I was afraid about the safety of the building but the building was super safe and the neighborhood was friendly! I will definitely come back.

Nick's place is outstanding! Perfect location for the European side of Istanbul. Beautiful Cihangir flat with tall ceilings, gorgeous furnishing, sparkling clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedding is superb, incredibly comfortable. Would definitely recommend. The tram and metro are within a 5 minute walking distance, with Istiklal (the main street) a stone throw away. The area is modern and lively with some of the nicest hang out spots in Istanbul.

The apartment is very bright and clean, the service is very smooth and professional. Hoping the place will be available for our next trip to Istanbul!

Nicholas apartment is perfectly located near to Taksim Square and very easily reached. The apartment surprised us in the way how spacious and comfortable it is, even better than on the pictures! The weather in Istanbul was this weekend very cold so we were happy everytime we entered the warm and cozy apartment after being outside. Oh, and it smelled also so good! Nicholas even let us stay until 17 on our check out day even though the official check out is at 11 am which we were so happy about since our flight left at 20:30 in the evening. I would love to come again to this amazing apartment if I'd ever visit Istanbul again!

This was my first experience with airbnb and i am very happy with the apartment, location and price. It is right next to Taksim square, in a walking distance to Dolmabahce and Kabatas station. Apartment has everything we needed for a 4 day stay in Istanbul (like hairdryers, iron, toiletries like shampoo, soap and etc...)and even more. Nicholas and Deniz are very responsive hosts, and they let us to check out very late without any extra payment, also and they were nice to arrange transfer to Sabiha Gokcen airport. The driver was right on time, he was very nice to help us with all our bags, and the ride to the aiport was very comfortable. We also visited a restaurant next to our apartment for a dinner, and went for a coffee in a small coffee shop right in front of our apartment, the food is very nice and coffee was perfect. There are many cafes, shops and restaurants next the apartment, but the place is located far from all the noise. I would definetely recommend this place for my friends for their next visit to Istanbul.

It was great staying at the place. If you want to be centrally located yet away from the rush, this is the place. The square is just a few minutes away and the place feels like home to get back to. Highly recommended.

Wonderful apartment and very nice host! We stay with 3 years old and Nicholas brought us crib and baby chair. We even had asked him about this! He also was completely ok with early check-in and late check-out. Very clean and authentic, close to many sights. We truly enjoyed staying in this flat

The flat is perfect for 3-4 people! Everything is as shown as in the pictures and better! The location is perfect for visiting all parts of Istanbul. Metro (Taksim) and Tram Station are near by and so it’s very easy to see all the interesting places of Istanbul! A lot of shops and restaurants are in the neighborhood. To get to Taksim square you have to walk up a little hill and to go to Tram you have to walk down some stairs but that’s like most of the parts of Istanbul. We would love to visit this flat again!

It was indeed a great stay with a great location and super spacious room at the heart of Cihangir! I stayed here with couple of my frnds for leisure visit. The photos and the actual place are the same rather looks great. We all loved it! Great hosts and really quick in responses wit anything. Great value for money and affordable. I would highly recommend VNG's place for anyone visiting Istanbul and this location being a heart of the city with less than 2 mins walk to Taksim Square as well. Great place!

We had a great stay apartment! It’s situated in a stylish neighbourhood near to all the major attractions - a few minutes in a cab and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and even bigger in real life then we expected from the photo’s. Great hosts and always replied promptly to any queries we had during our stay. We would definitely recommend!

Light, bright, spacious, minimal interior great to spend time in just reading a book on the sofa with the breeze coming in through the blinds. But outside, too many cafes and restaurants to choose from and a fabulous home made ice cream parlour, and if you go to the Juicery, be warned, you'll be in there everyday. Cihangir is an international area, as delightful as staying in the East Village in New York or Belleville in Paris. There are edgier, more marginal places to stay in Istanbul, but this is comfortable, high-end metropolitan, whatever the purpose of your visit you'll feel like you're on vacation everyday.

We spent 5 nights at the apartment. The flat is really huge with high ceiling, it is much better than on the photos!! It is very well equipped (hairdryer, cooking ustensils etc.) and the bathroom is also large. The flat is located in a calm street and is near Taksim Metro Station (6 minutes by walking). The neighborhood is also great with some nice restaurants & cafes (Van Kahvalti, Miss Pizza etc). As for the VNG Team they were very reactive. We recommend VNG's flat to anyone !

The place is perfect - quiet neighbourhood but close to all of the amazing bars and restaurants that the area has to offer - short walk to Taksim square and opposite convenient things like markets, pharmacy and taxi rank. Perfect coffee and breakfast cafe opposite the house as well as an amazing Greek restaurant Greecology 2mins walk down the road. A 20 min taxi to all the big sights. The apartment is light filled and beautifully furnished, a relaxing space and we just enjoyed every second. Nick also arranged transfers for my Mother, who is 71, and her first time to Turkey - super fast with responses and nothing was ever a problem -the VNG team speaks perfect English. Highly recommended!

We all enjoyed the home. The flat is in a stylish apartment bloc in a hip neighbourhood, surrounded by restaurants and shops. It's within a short stroll to tram and metro stations. The apartment is huge and can easily accommodate 4 persons easily. VNG staff are great and responsive hosts. Highly recommended.

The pictures doesnt justify how great this place is. ideally located in a place where you can acess taksim sq and still have a peaceful sleep at night. Go for it. you wont regret it !

The VNG staff were very friendly and helpful during all our stay at his place, he's a great host! The flat was amazing, really beautiful, clean, and in a nice quarter. Everything was there to make our stay easily and sweet ! Next time in Istanbul, I'll come back to this home for sure!
